Each complete IPE CLIP ® Extreme ™ fastener system comes with the following components for 100 sf of decking:

• (175) IPE CLIP ® Extreme ™ Hidden Deck Fasteners

• (190) Stainless steel #8, 2” Torx drive screws

• (1) 1/8" high speed drill bit

• (1) #1 Torx drive screwgun tip

• (12) 3/8" Tapered Ipe plugs

IPE CLIP INSTALLATION:

• Face screw the first deck board and use the wood plugs provided
• Insert Ipe Clip into the edge of deck board
• Install screws at a 45 degree angle & slightly countersink in the center of the Ipe Clip
• Fasten board on each joist using one clip and one screw per joist
• Slide the next board into the clips from previously fastened deck board and insert next clip.
• Repeat procedure.

WOOD PLUG INSTALLATION:

• Drill 3/8” diameter hole approximately ¼” deep and pilot hole through decking.
• After screwing, use Gorilla Glue or Elmers same poly glue.
• Insert plug and tap with hammer.
• Glue dries, chisel away excess plug and sand smooth – 80 grit.
