Available Siding Species
Ipe
Ipe Siding (Brazilian Walnut) is olive-brown to dark-brown in color. Ipe is one of the hardest and most durable woods found anywhere in the world. A fantastic choice for residential siding, as well as commercial applications due to its strength and longevity.
Cumaru
Cumaru siding displays varying degrees of red, gold and brown tones, with beautiful grain patterns. Color variety from board to board can be more pronounced in Cumaru, than Ipe, but the durability and longevity are effectively the same.
Tigerwood
Tigerwood Siding is pale to orange, but will darken and display deeper, reddish hues over time when used outdoors. That unique orange tint makes Tigerwood siding a one-of-a-kind choice for exterior AND interior projects
Garapa
Garapa is a blonde or wheat-brown which will also darken and become an amber-tinted brown over time to earn its pseudonym, Brazilian Oak.
Massaranduba
Massaranduba is a beautiful plum red tinted to reddish-brown color. It’s known for a lack of visible knots, and a consistent grain with subtle demarcation partially due to the dark, deep color.
Purpleheart
Purpleheart Siding will start as a very obviously purple color, but gives way to medium brown tones while maintaining its characteristic grain lines.
Brown Balau
Brown Balau Siding has become VERY popular as an alternative to Ipe, with VERY similar color tones, and more importantly- stability.
