The main thing to expect with this material is water staining, watermarking, and uneven surface color. These boards are not being sold as visually perfect premium decking. They are being offered as a smart-value option for buyers who understand that the discount is tied to appearance.
Many of these marks should weather and blend over time, especially on decks, docks, and outdoor projects with heavy sun, rain, and normal exposure. We have also had success sanding many stains out, but the darkest or deepest marks may still remain visible after sanding.
