This bottom-grooved profile does not include side grooves and is typically used alongside side-grooved Ipe 1×6 boards to maintain a clean hidden-fastener installation. Builders commonly use the bottom-grooved board in the field, on the perimeter, or as part of airflow-sensitive sections of the deck.
